Can I take strap off to wash ?

Hi everyone

Sorry if this sounds dumb ! … I had BA surgery last Wednesday and had a strap put on after. Firstly I’m not sure how long this strap has to stay on and secondly can I take it off to wash it ? …. I’m trying to keep as clean as possible but I’m paranoid that my strap smells.

The strapping is meant to stay on untill you go to your post op appointment where the nurse takes it all off. Speak to your nurse and she may say it’s okay for you to take it off xx
