Can we wear??

Can we wear underwired bras at 6 weeks post op?? The burse never said anything about underwired she just said not to wear push up bras. Thanks ladies xxx

I was told at my 6 week post op appointment that I could start wearing underwired bras, I had to take one with me for my surgeon to make sure I was wearing the right size and I was supported enough. I never went with Mya though xx

Yeh I brought some from week 6! I don’t really wear them al the time yet tho! Still in my support bras most of the time then if I’m going out for whatever I wear them! Xx

Yeah thats all im going to do. If i go out ill wear a decent bra but im still in my mya bras. Im going to buy some better sports bras now iv been measured too xxx

Hi. Nurse said they are fine but to look after your boobs best dont wear all the time, the more support you give your boobs the longer they will look good. She said that the wire can still be uncomfortable because internal healing is still going on.
Told me to wear for special occasions x

@mrsk yeh I’m thinking the same! What sport bras have you looked at?
I have no clue! I literally have one shock absorber one I wear when I’m at the gym, but that one is super snug. I want one to wear at night and at work etc which is more comfy as well as supportive ????????‍♀️ Any suggestions xx

Iv heard alot of good things about the shock absorber sports bras. They are expensive but if they are good id say they are worth it xxx
