    Hey girls!
I’m going on a planned night out next Saturday and at that point will be 4 weeks post op. Do you think it’s safe to go out for a night out (no major dancing or anything) without a bra (the outfit I really wanna wear is a very low cut) as nothing I have suits a sports bra. Just wondering if this would be safe for a few hours or if it would cause me any problems x

Hey, this is something I asked about when I had a two week appointment to have the steri strips removed! Which was two days ago, and the nurse said that would be fine to not wear the bra for a few hours if going on a night out, and wanting to wear something pretty. hope this helps ☺️ X

I went to a wedding at 5 weeks post op.. I wore a halter neck dress with no sprts bra.. I wore my sports bra before and when I got home.. my nurse said as I was approaching 6 weeks it would be ok.. my dress was fairly supportive though… the sports bra basically keeps them in place… I personally don’t see why it would be a problem for a few hours.. maybe if you can find an outfit that’s supportive as well as being nice? I changed later in the evening and wore a dress that was a little less supportive.. they ached a bit that night but it hasn’t harmed them xx
I’ve attached both (hopefully) to give you an idea
