Can you wear make up on surgery day?

Hi girls,
I have my surgery booked with Transform Dr Singh, on 30th December. I’m rele excited, but also rele nervous, and starting to think of loads of questions I should have asked my pc ! Are you able to wear make up on surgery day ? Just a little bit of foundation ? I hate wearing no foundation !!

Hey Hun no your not allowed make up or false eyelashes or fake nails you have to be bear lol but it’s worth it Hun hope everything goes well but your nurse will tell you all the does and donts at your pre op xxx

Hey lynseygibz, I have had my pre op but she mentioned everything other than make-up, or maybe i was so excited I wasnt paying attention ! Thank you for letting me know. I will have to bear all like you said ! Thank you, I will let you know how it goes. Have you had a BA ? xxx

Hey Hun it should all be in your pack she gave you just have a look god I forgot loads when she was telling me because I was just so excited just have a look at the sheets and information she gave you it should all be on there sorry should say bare lol I got my nails back on on Friday so got to get use to typing with them on again lol yeah let me know how it goes you’ll be fine and you’ll have new boobies in no time yeah I had my BA 10 weeks ago on Saturday xxx

I think you will be okay with a bit of foundation on they just told me no fake eyelashes or nails xxx

I was told at my pre op no make up at all, I assume its because of the ga and they need to see your true skin colour whilst you are asleep xx

Just to be safe don’t wear any makeup. I’m sure they have their reasons for telling you not to. Don’t worry there’s no one to look good for at the hospital 😉

I’ve just had my op, had my normal daily makeup on, took baby wipes to take it off but no one said anything! =o)
