I’ve been trying to arrange my second consultation and enquire about putting a deposit down for a surgery date for nearly 2 weeks now. When contacting my PC I just get the “I’m not in the clinic right now” message. Then I finally posted on here about trying to apply for 0% finance and received a text from another PC who said my PC is on annual leave and will be back in a weeks time (would’ve been Thursday just gone), so I tried to text again after Thursday but got the same “I’m not in the clinic” message. So I called MYA up on Saturday morning, they said they will put me on call with the Manchester clinic, however she was unsuccessful and said she will email them to give me a call back but I’ve still had nothing and when texting my PC I still get the same text so I’m really confused and don’t know what’s going on??? Just so frustrating because I need to try and get a specific surgery date and obviously the more it’s prolonged the less chance I’ll get. Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone have any advice/suggestions? Thankssss x

I didn’t go with mya so don’t really know their process but do you have to do it through your pc? Surely once you mention about putting a deposit down they’d want to help you as money is involved?
Or have you considered going anywhere else? X

I’m not 100% sure, it’s hard to get information when nobody seems to be replying/calling me back etc. Grrr it’s stressing me out so much haha. I haven’t really considered anywhere else because then I’d have to start all over again waiting for initial consultation etc and I haven’t got the time. At this rate I won’t be getting my boob job at all because I’m starting uni next September (leaving my current job) and so I won’t have the funds coming in. I’ve planned it out where I’m gonna do the 0% Apr (in my mum’s name, pay half the cost then half over 10 months) and so it’ll plan out perfectly if I get it done in November because 10 months will lead to me just starting uni etc and being able to quit my job because I’ll have no finance to pay off. Xx

Hmmm that sounds like such a shame! You sound like you have it all planned!! I’d keep trying with mya then Hun. Push as much as you can. Let them know this is your plan and they should try and help. Don’t understand why they wouldn’t be more than willing tbh as your going to make a payment!!
I wouldn’t rule out other places either tho. I know one lady had her initial consultation and surgery within like 2 weeks. Might be an option if your short on time xx

You don’t have to speak to your pc to put a deposit down. I just rang my clinic directly and the lady who was on reception at the time just did it and passed the date I wanted to my PC (I had already discussed available dates with my PC) x

It’s just so frustrating that they aren’t very approachable for information considering I’m going to be paying a large amount of money and it’s such an extreme operation! I thought they’d be a lot more attentive. Hmm. Going to call mya again tomorrow and ask if they can hand me over to another PC who will organise my bookings etc because all I’ve gotten so far is “your PC is on annual leave” which isnt helpful at all because I’ve no idea when she will be back!! Thank you for your advise!! 🙂 xxx

Kirsty I’ve literally had no contact with my PC so I don’t even know what dates are available, plus she’s on annual leave. Do you think I’ll still be able to just call up and book a date? Xx

Also do you think I’ll be able to book my second consultation too? Xx

I don’t see why not, everything’s recorded on the same system. Night just be worth speaking to the reception of the clinic you’re at. I think when I called to out my deposit, my of was off that day so they took my deposit and I told them which date I wanted. I think I then spoke to my PC when she was back in the office to book my second consultation x

I just worry that because it’s not directly to my PC that I’ll end up getting to the hospital on my op day and get the dreaded “your op has been cancelled because of a mix up with the dates” like I’ve seen happen to a lot of girls on here! I will give them a call tomorrow and explain everything and hopefully it will be as straight forward as yours, thank you!! Xx

Call may and ask to change to another PC tell them your unhappy with service… that’s shocking!

I’m going to call them tomorrow Susan and say something like “I’ve been trying to arrange my 2nd consultation and put a deposit down for 2 weeks now and I’m just getting nowhere, please can you assist me” and see what they say. It’s so frustrating! You’d think someone would’ve give me a quick text to at least explain what’s going on, after all, in the texts it does say “I’m not in the clinic right now but myself or someone else will get back to you!”. Grrrrrrr xx

My PC was forever on annual leave!! I started to wish I had her job the amount of holidays she had when I was tryna contact her. I rang the clinic direct and put my deposit down as I knew the date I wanted. Even when I paid the full amount I still did it with the girl on reception. Xx

Omg really?! That’s ridiculous! It seems the poor girls are the reception are handling most of the PC’s work!! I’m going to call up tomorrow, thank you for the info!xx
