Hi all I’ve not been on here for a while now.
I had my ba back in may 2013 although my righty from 10 day post op check with nurse I knew wernt sat right she said it just needed to drop and fluff so I didn’t think much of it.
Always been so happy with them anyway from having no boobs what so ever after loosing so much weight so I were over the moon to be given 32ffs ????
Anyway july last year I started to get quite a bit of pain in my right boob and it were rock solid, hubby said to ring mya but I were too scared and busy with work etc so put it off hoping it’d go away.
It hasn’t and they will be 5 years old next month although they have lifetime guarantee has anyone had the same problem and mya replaced them if it is capsular contracture that is.
Sorry for the long post but I am so worried as I don’t know what they are going to say,I have an appointment with the nurse Friday.would be so appreciative if anyone has had re op so late on or even anyone who has had capsular contracture would love to hear from you xxx
Hi my sister In law is currently going through the same, she’ll be 5 years post op in September. I know you said lifetime guarantee but that’s only for the actual implants not the operation. I think it’s 5 year guarantee against CC I had mine done a year ago and they shortened the guarantee to 3 years although I still get lifetime on the implants. It’s highly likely you’ll have to pay the full price for a reop but they can put the same implants back in so shouldn’t be as much as the original op. Hope it goes well at your appointment xx
Thanks Hun for the reply yes that’s right 5 years sort of warranty then thwnlifetime for the implants,I knew there prob would be a chance of prob paying for the actual surgery just so nervous as haven’t got a clue what they are gonna say.
They look awful now, did your sister in law go through mya x
You’ll just have to wait and see what the surgeon says, fingers crossed for you! Yeh she had Mr Traynor I had him too on her recommendation! She was really happy with them, just bad luck I supppse to develop it so late on. It’s really rare! Have they confirmed it’s definitely CC? She had an ultrasound last week at nhs hospital and they confirmed it and she meets the surgeon next week to see what he says xx
If it’s still within the 5 years can’t you get it sorted free xx
