    I am getting reop for CC soon and just wondering what recovery time is? I have quite a physical job, will 2 weeks be enough? I also have a 2 year old son so I know I will need help with him too.

    Hi I’m nearly 5 years post op and I think I have capsular contraction in my left breast ???? I have an appointment with my surgeon on Friday but can’t help but worry! Can I ask what happens if it was to be that? Do you get both implants replaced? Did you have to pay anything? Thankyou xx

    Heya, they just confirm it by feeling for it, and I’m not sure about replacement as both of my breasts had it to the highest grade so they both definitely needed replacing. I’m pretty sure they’ll do both. I’m now 5 days post op and they feel like new breasts although look the exact same as I had same size. Nothing to worry about and I feel almost healed apart from sore incisions so definitely a quicker recovery time xx

    Thankyou so much! I’m 5 years post op on the 13th June and my app with Mr traynor to confirm I have it is on the 16th June I’m really panicking they will say I am over my time scale for a reop although I made them aware of the problem on the 8th June just that was the soonest I could see him! I am so worried xxxx

    Got them done 13th june 2012 but I rang the nurse on the 8th and sent her pictures of what had happend so hopefully with me doing that I’ll be still in my time scale it’s not really my fault they didn’t have an appointment until after my timescale is it xxx

    Hi daisy, just seen you comment about CC. I’m another that has Cc and I got confirmed in February and that they was going to do a re-op and I’m just having my surgery tomorrow! Although I did first go back to see my surgeon in August last year! I hope you get sorted ☺️ X

    @beckiea depends when you had it done hun if its fairly recent then you always need to wait at least 12 months for any re-op

    @sohaila-trekki
    sorry curiosity question here! Do you know if when you get confirmed for CC and theres an agreed re-op if you HAVE to go for the same sized implants you had before – as in was this your choice to have same size or do oyu get offered to go any implant size of your choice… personally dont see the problem with they allowing any changes since this isnt great for you after all!!

    You sure @sylvianna my surgeon said its up to me asoon as paperwork is done? An pc said 30 days paperwork goes through, not waiting another 6 months, probably cause problems by then! X
    I also didnt get to change implant size they just replace what was in before.

    +1

    @beckiea i dont know obv follow what they say as im not professional haha but from what i know they like to give you a good few months to recover and see any changes, maybe its diff for CC if they only get worse over time!

    cause they usually dont like to do two surgeries like BAs so close together, the body needs time to heal? ive never heard of anyone who got it done before 12 months on here they were told they had to wait from all the posts ive read but obv not 100% sure xxx
