Hi girls recently I posted about the massive gap issue that I have at 8dpo… I went for my preop today and got my stitches removed she said they look great but couldn’t help but notice my chest is ridicously swollen and bruised and sticks out by an inch from my belly (if you get what I mean) and the said it’s quite swollen… she said this is probably the reason behind the gap but could this be the reason why im also getting really out of breath.
Did she not say why it could be swollen like that? Or is it just purely down to your surgery xx
8DPO its all the medication xx make sure you drink and walk lots this will flush you out xx don’t worry xx
Mine was like that. Really tight and if I pushed down on my chest the implants would move to the outer of my boobs. It was bruised, but you couldn’t see it and it wasn’t that much pain. It’s way better now and my boyfriend said they look closer together so yours could be similar x
By chest I mean my sternern where my gap is and it’s tender to touched and raised by about an inch. She wasn’t worried about it but as soon as I took my bra off she immediately touched my sternan and said it’s really swollen… I didn’t even think to mention I’ve been getting really out of breath but I’m putting two and two together! I stopped taking medication at 5dpo x
Yeah I know where you mean. Your gap is larger than mine (I’ve seen some of your pictures) but mine was tight too, but its far less now. If you’re concerned see your GP. If they’ve said it’s swollen it might just be a case of waiting, but if you’re worried, get a second opinion for sure x
See if it just closed a bit ill be happy but I’m not expecting them to be really close together as I had a gap before… it takes the exciment away from having new boobies x
I didn’t think mine had closed, but my boyf seems to think so, and I’m a lot more critical than him (he’s not a sugar coating boyfriend, so he won’t be lying ha) but yeah, apparently it’s closed up more, so hopefully yours does too cus I’ve seen you’re a bit disheartened by it. I think finding flaw is normal though, mine are far too small. I think it’s part of the journey. Hope you get the boobie love everyone talks about xx
I’ve seen a few people have this (not on here) and their surgeon has recommended a thong bra, the pressure from that disperses the swelling and then the girls can get closer together. Ask if it’s something you can try? If not a thing bra I’ve seen people roll up a facecloth and put that between inside the compression/sports bra xx
