Hay, this may be a silly question but did you girls travel to the hospital in different clothes that you were coming out with? I’m going to take a jumpsuit for after the op because I can just step into that and pull it up but I don’t know whether to travel in that too or just chuck jeans on?

I stayed in a hotel the night before but I went in what I was going to leave in from the hospital, makes it easier for you…..xx

I too was wondering what sort of clothes are best to come out the hospital in, as not sure what is going to be the easiest to get into and most comfortable? Xx

Yea I thought the same thing, less extra baggage. And I was told nothing that goes over your head as you can’t lift your arms so for me it’s either the jumpsuit because I can step into it or just shorts and a zip up hoody. You want something that won’t make your arms raise too high x

Yea that is a perfect thing to go in or a really strappy top (new look do an ideal one) that you can step into with a pair of joggers and slip on shoes 🙂 xx

Do you reckon we’ll be okay to bend to touch our toes? I’m curious about how much movement ill have, I don’t know if I’m being ridiculous thinking I won’t be able to do much but I don’t want to be bored, I want to be able to clean around the house and fully dress myself with no assistance lol x

Erm It may be difficult…See your like me I said to my mate who also had hers done 2 months before me that I was gonna (like you) be cleaning the house etc but you will find a) its better to rest b) don’t push yourself unnecessarily cause its not worth the risk whilst your healing…I needed help now and then but its different for each individual but my advice is try not to do too much xx

I saw a girl leaving the hospital in her pyjamas! I wore trackies (sexy ones of course) and a zip up hoodie. You wanna be comfy for the journey home. As for housework etc, don’t push yourself even if you feel ok, don’t forget the drugs will make you feel ok but your body needs to recover from the surgery and heal properly. I did a major spring clean before I went in so I wouldn’t be tempted to do anything! X

I am on day 4 after op and would not even attempt housework. As I feel really swollen and a lot of pressure today. I have been out of the house but feeling tried on and off through out the day as I have not been sleeping well. Don’t plan to much.

There’s an amazing seamless bra from primark!!! Works wonders and even keeps them close together!! I would defs recommend it as this was my second BA ive tested many bras and i can say go buy a few for your op! They come in different colours too!only £3

Wear knickers not tight so easily to pull off and no gstring! My bum was so sore from wearing a Gstring sleeping sitting up lol

Pair of easy to pull up leggings with no tight elastic band… And baby wipes is essential!!

Ah do you have to stay in longer if you have drains? I’ve been told my surgeon uses drains too :\ that’s annoying lol x
