Coming off pill?

Do you definitely have to come off your contraceptive pill before the op or does it depend what type of pill you’re on??? Confused…

Hi Jenna, my surgeon has told me there was no need to come off my pill! but i would check with your own surgeon coz he/she mite say something different! xx

It depends which kind your on. Im on cerazette so have been told i can continue taking it 🙂 i think if your on the combined pill though you may have to stop xx

Hiya jenna im on microgynon and got told i had to come off my pill 2 weeks prior to op and 2 weeks after op! Its killing me! My skin is a mess! Xxx

How weird my sugeon didnt even ask me which pill i was on! im on the same as you Emma, now im worried coz my op is on Friday and im still taking the pill! :S

I wpuldnt worry . My nurse told me i had to come off mine. Think some surgeons prefer it to others. If they were concerned they would av mentioned it to u. Another girl i kno was on same as me and didnt come off it. Xx
