Compression band or torture device

Hi ladies! I’m 6 days post op and just about ready to burn the bloody thing, its so tight and cutting in to my armpits 🙁 Is anyone else wearing one or knows how long I have to keep it on for?
My first post op appointment is on Tuesday so I’m hoping that I can take it off for good then. I took it off last night for a couple of minutes just to release the pressure and it felt sooo good. I’ve been putting cotton pads in between the strap and my armpit to reduce the chafing but I can’t seem to get used to it, plus it’s really hard to conceal under clothing x

I had a compression band on for 8 days.. Had it taken off at my post op appointment. I feel your pain! It was an absolute nightmare wearing it. Mine was glued onto my skin so I couldn’t even take it off myself and took the nurse 10 mins to remove it! Such a relief when it comes off.. although it had cut by my underarms so it was stinging for a while! 🙁 Hopefully you’ll have yours off on Tuesday xx

I undo mine now and again and move it about because it’s so tight I actually can’t breathe 🙁 x

I’ve been moving mine around abit and loosening it up, my back is in bits! Worse than the actual boob ache lol x
