Consultants saying different things :( – confused

I’ve had three consultations, one said I had enough breast tissue (I am a petite 32A) for round over implant…then i went to another who said the same but that if i went under the muscle i would look ‘abnormal’ his actual words to me…nice. My nipples point diagonalish so he said if he went under the muscle there would be a big gap etc. Anyway then I saw Mr Frati last week and he said i would need teardrop or anatomical implants and they would definitely need to be under the muscle as i didnt have enough breast tissue. I am just so confused. I didnt like the other two surgeons so if I am doing this then it will be with Mr Frati but it just rings in my head about what the other surgeon said about looking abnormal if i go under the muscle! Anyone else had conflicting information? xxx

Hmmm quite confusing. Which surgeons did you hav consultations with?

I got told I had to have unders but I wanted another opinion. Saw dr traynor and he said defiantly overs as I had slightly tubular breasts, the first surgeon didn’t even mention correcting tubular. So glad I went for the overs x

I wouldn’t worry yourself with before and After pics with people of similar stats, I did that and honest, it doesn’t really matter all people achieve dif things even of it sounds the same Hun x

Unders are the choice when there is little to no breast tissue to cover the implant , overs for when you have enough tissue to cover them or if your on the border of having enough and you have a skill full enough surgeon to move the tissue around abit to hide them properly and create an natural looking breast I have overs my sister has unders she had her op 6 years ago it’s funny as she lifts her arms up her breasts move up towards the armpits as my overs kind of stay where they were put but the surgeons will decide the best method for your body so id relax and go with there advice

It’s very important, well for me it was anyway to get different opinions I’d say go with your gut feeling the one that made you feel comftable and just feels right. With surgeons they have to be honest with you hence although ‘abnormal’ did sound not nice to here, a surgeon is thinking of the nest results for you.
Doing your own research is very important too although you see surgeons And.the consult you there are pros and cons with every kind of placement whether it be overs or unders. You could ask the same question to the other surgeon who did not mention unders and see what he says
