Hi Hannah,
I had my first consultation on 1st December. This is a meeting with your patient coordinator.
So when I arrived at mine I waited in reception and filled in quite a long questionnaire all about my medical history and also had to put in my doctors name and address so make sure you know that. They also need a copy of photo ID.
Then you go into a room and you basically just have a nice chat, firstly about why you want them done. She told me about the implants and after care etc. Ask as many questions as you want, I asked about risks, recovery time, difference between overs and unders etc etc. Then she matched me up to a surgeon Mr Traynor which I was happy about because two friends have been with him. I asked if we could look at available surgery dates there and then and I reserved 6th Jan. So not a long wait at all, she did say that January/ Feb gets busy because it’s a new year.
Then we went through price and finance options and I told her I will speak to my partner and then call up tomorrow to pay the deposit and secure my on date which I did!
I am at Manchester branch and everyone is really lovely.
Hope this helps and good luck xx
