Contraceptive pill??

Can someone explain why I can’t take my pill for a month post op even though I’m not on any medication or anything so don’t understand why it’s so long after?

I’m pretty sure it’s because of blood clots x

Have you still got the booklet you patient coordinator gave you? It tells you in there, plus you have to wait 2 weeks after the op before you can take it again, xxx

4 weeks before op and 2 weeks after op so 6 in total it’s due to the pill increasing your chances of blood clots.. I’m so scared to stop taking mine lol xx

Yeah I stopped 4 weeks before then asked my nurse st my 1 week post op and she said not to start taking it for another 4 weeks!!

Nobody told me to stop taking mine?

Harley medical group, they must have different polices. I’ve looked through the information they’ve gave me and it says nothing about stopping medication, the only thing it says to stop taking is vitamins xx
