Corona Virus; Reschedueled surgeries.

Hi Girls, for all of you who had surgeries in march april etc, when have you had them postponed until?

My surgery is schedueled for August and as part of my agreement I have said I will pay 50% of my surgery at the end of the month.

In Mya t&cs they state if your surgery is cancelled due to something out of their control for example but not limited to a natural disaster they are not liable therefor I am assuming I wont recieve a refund?

What does everyone think? Are you all expecting your surgeries to go ahead? I am worried as I have saved forever and dont think id ever be able to afford again if I lost all my money 🙁 although I could be over thinking it?

What dates have your surgeries been postponed until? Is anyone else worried about loosing their money?

Any advice/reassurance would be fab xx

I was booked in for tomorrow but obviously has been postponed. We have paid half upfront & the first of our finance installments will come out on the 5th May even though I’ve not had my surgery re-scheduled yet.

My PC said that they would be in touch again towards the end of April & hopefully be able to organise a new date It’s just a waiting game unfortunately & can’t be helped.
Don’t get me wrong, I am disappointed & had my date booked in perfectly timed for us to be going on holiday mid June, but as that is unlikely to go ahead either now – I guess I just have to wait & see.

I’m sure we will all be contacted & those who had dates already booked will be at the top of the list.

I think we just need to be thankful that we are healthy & our time will come X

Thanks for your reply, Sorry to hear your surgery has been postponed, with everything up in the air at the moment I dont think anyone knows if their surgeries will go ahead. Its nobodys fault I understand that but im in the same position as you as my 50% balance is due very soon and im worried about loosing all my money if they did cancel my surgery indefinetly.

I know its not ideal but i dont mind if they do postpone it as long as I dont loose all my money and i do eventually get my surgery. My surgery is august the 5th and my patient co-ordinator said it is expected to go ahead as normal .

I hope you manage to get your surgey soon, it will definetly be worth it and hopefully we will all have amazing boobs to show of next summer! xxxx

It will be worth the wait I’m sure! 😉

I don’t think for one minute we will lose our money. Can you imagine the uproar?! I genuinely think it’s a case of a situation of unusual & unprecedented circumstances & once it all ‘blows over’ it will get back on track.
