Cortisone injections before surgery – issues??

Hi, booked my surgery a while ago for 17th October. Since I’ve been having some shoulder pain investigated and may need a cortisone injection on Monday. I’ve raised question to nurse if this is an issue just waiting for response but has anyone else had surgery while receiving cortisone treatment?

Found out…..no injection 3 months before or after surgery!
