Cough/cold

This time last week I developed a cough and have been feeling quite blocked up, but I don’t think it’s a cold because I haven’t been sneezing. Just my luck when my op is on Saturday! My sore throat has pretty much cleared up but it’s still a bit tickly and my head/nose is a bit better but not fully. I’ve tried contacting the nurse but she no call back. Finally managed to speak to my PC the other day and she said it should be fine as long as I’m getting better and not worse but I’m scared I will get there on the day and be told no! Anyone had this?? xx

i had this to keep on top with pain killers ect and rest as long as u havent got a temp or sick no reason why u cant sure it will go b4 mine did dont get antibioics tho just chill oit gd luck x x

Try not to take things for it (as long as it isn’t getting worse) as it could interfere with the meds they give you, but as far as I know its only if you have a temp that they wouldn’t go ahead, or if you were really ill. There were a couple girls who had colds when I was getting mine done who said they went in with a cold and came out without one lol. Try and rest and hopefully you will be right as rain 🙂 Good luck xxx
