Councillor Refused to give reference!! :( HELP

Hey guys,
So my suregery is next monday and MYA’s policy is that if you have ever seen a councillor you have to get a note from them giving the all clear. I saw my councillor nearly 4 years ago on topics completly unrelated to my surgery but regardless i contacted him. I have just recieved his responce and he has refused to givd me a refernce with it being so long ago that I saw him and it being completly off-topic!
Now I’m really pancking in case they dont let me surgery go ahead for some as ridiculous and insgnificant as this! Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

Haven’t been in this situation Hun but my thinking is is that hopefully MYA will overlook it due to the response he’s given you I.e it was so long ago and completely unrelated! x

Hii Molly I can’t comment directly but I’ve seen a few posts on here saying things like that only mattered if it was within the last 12 months. But I’d ring and try and speak with your nurse or PC asap to clear it up so you know where you stand and aren’t worried when it’s so close xxx

I saw a counsellor 4 years ago but they never asked me to get a reference either. Not sure why you would need one from so long ago .
