I’m 2 weeks post op today and my dad has tested positive for covid and I’ve been in same room as him I’m isolation I’ve tested negative so far and I also haven’t had the vaccine I’m worried if I get it as I’m prob still week from surgery if this is going to effect me I’m really scared if anyone has had similar worries or have had covid whilst they’ve had surgery please let me know as my anxiety through the roof right now xx

I haven’t had my surgery yet but I had covid before I was fully vaccinated and was fine! Bit of a headache and tired but that’s all. I can understand the anxiety about getting it so soon after surgery but try and stay away from your dad and you will most likely be fine either way 😀
Also my husband never caught it off me even though we were sleeping in the same bed so it’s not a given x
