CRAP AFTER CARE!!

As you know one of my boobs is so swollen its not getting any smaller or getting better. I had a short notice appointment with the nurse last saturday to see what going on and all she did was take some pics to show the surgeon and yet again said leave it a couple of weeks. its been 5 weeks and the nurse said i had mastitis and given me a weeks worth of antibiotics……Not done f..k all!! The nurse was ment to ring me monday but nothing. I should be happy with my new boobs and paying all that money that i saved and just so unhappy and at the moment it has been a big mistake. sorry for the long post its just i needed a rant 🙁 xx

Oh no 🙁 I don’t know what to say! I just hope it all gets sorted as it’s not fair that you should be feeling like this. I would keep calling & letting then know how upset you are until it gets sorted xx

I literally could not agree more! The aftercare is appauling. My whole MYA journey has been terrible and the only reason I decided to stay with them is because I had every faith in my surgeon. Big mistake! I’m just over 6 weeks post op and I’ve had nothing but problems. 3 weeks ago I woke up a puddle and noticed that the incision on my right boob had come open. I rang MYA and was told it was nothing to worry about and given an appointment for 3 days later to see the nurse. Cutting a long story short, I’ve been told I will need further surgery, but that it’s not an emergency! I’m disgusted I’ve waited 3 weeks now, my incision is completely open and there is that much fluid I’m constantly replacing my dressings. I’ve tried to contact my PC but she hasn’t rang me or replied to my messages. I’m going on holiday at the end of March and I don’t want to still be recovering then but somehow I don’t think I’m going to get a date for surgery in the next few weeks! xx

Rebecca im in tears i really am. Im so depressed its unreal. At the moment i really regret doing it at the minute. I just hope they can sort it out x

I’m sure I posted on here before can people delete. Anyways I’ll post again lol ah girls hope you are ok. Make sure you get on at them. I didn’t go with MYA due to them messing me about with appointments and surgeons. But I’m 7days post op it was totally fine however had an allergic reaction to antibiotics so was very very poorly for 3 days after. The hospital / nurse/doctors /surgeon has been on phone to me everyday ever since. Had my check up today wasn’t even home and someone rang to see if everything was ok. I only payed £4000 for a hospital stay too.its not fair when u pay this amount of money I do hope you get sorted very soon.xx

I was the same NATAILE as mya was costing loads and Only 3 years of after care/ cover for 3years of free re ops I payed less and got lifetime care whith 10 years free re op it’s not fair at all x

I just hope it gets sorted. I cant enjoy anything at the moment. I felt self conscious then and now i feel even worse after having a operation that would make me feel amazing. Im noy happy with them and to me one looks like its sagging xx

I feel the same bianca. One of my breasts is completely odd to the other after over 6 weeks post
Op even though it doesn’t look it in pictures it is and even the nurse said oh well we will try wait a few weeks see if it changes . They are very different and not sure what will happen if they end up looking completely different few months post op . They just don’t seen a good shape at the moment . I have sent few pictures to my co-ordinator to show them how unhappy I am with the oddness and waiting to here back as I didn’t have uneven breasts before and was told they would

I really feel for you hun! I’m more angry at the fact that on 4 separate occasions prior to this the nurse saw me and said my boob looked very swollen and did nothing! I can’t believe I was just left to the point where my incisions have literally ripped open due to all the fluid and still after 3 weeks they haven’t done anything. Someday’s the fluid is so much it literally pours from me, I’m so cautious about doing anything and it’s so embarrassing as it smells too! My left boob is odd too, it looks saggy and is a funny, horrible shape! I wish I’d never bothered. At my last appointment my nurse asked a different surgeon to pop in and he said that there is 2 outcomes, one being that my implant will need to be removed and left out for 3 months and then put back in!? I asked if this would be the case would they take them both out and the response I got was no, theres no need to mess with the other! I may be missing something but is this some sort of joke! I have had 800cc implants!! Its hardly going to go unnoticed for 3 months!! xx

I no exactly Rebecca . I got told at 3/4 weeks post op that I have to wait till 6 weeks and I should have even boobs and they will drop nicely then at 6 weeks I get told to wait another 2 months ! So now I’m just waiting and I really feel it’s completely different shape and for my mum and boyfriend to notice and say something straight away it must be :/ what are you going to do ? X

That sounds horrendous for you all! What’s the situation with Mya, do they redo free of charge if you’re really not happy? I’m not happy with mine and the place where I had them done will only offer me a reduced price!

Sorry to here that. Hope it’s get sorted. But your right after care and stuff are crap. And to be honest wouldn’t go back there. My surgeon was lovely Mr Singh and so far happy with his work. But they don’t help and welcome u probably. And I don’t think it’s very clean there aswell really at times.
