Crease lowered?

Hi everybody,

I’ve seen a few people post about having their crease lowered at the same time as a BA and it seems popular with those that have tubular boobs,

What does the crease lowering actually do?

I was told by Dr Traynor at my consultation that I had tubular boobs and im having 350 cc overs but he hasnt mentioned anything about having my crease lowered or anything :\

They don’t always need to lower the crease, most Surgeons may avoid lowering the crease as it can be more hassle than its worth such as bottoming out/longer healing because they will be lower than the natural crease. I think a few girls may have had this done and I think they have had wonderful results, you could always ask mr traynor? I asked him for a nipple lift and he said I didn’t need one and as the implant drops my nipples will be lifted a little and so far he’s right lol. tubular breasts can have great results without lowering of the crease xxxy

If you have little measurements Between your nipple and natural crease when you have implants it may make the nipple lower, so lowering the crease gives the breast a bigger measurement between those areas xxx

Thanks love, i’ll mention it to him but I keep reassuring myself that surely he would have said it I did need it ha, he wouldnt let me have over 350 cc so maybe there would only be an issue with the crease if I was having bigger then that!

I’ll chew his ear off about it when i see him I think 🙂

I wouldn’t worry too much, every detail of your procedure will be on your notes, which you see on day of surgery to sign to agree with implant placement, incision placement, any extra procedures, size etc.

During my consultation with him, I looked over at my notes and any questions I wanted to ask he answered but it was all on there anyway 🙂 he’s very very good.

I thought Mr traynor didn’t really say much, other than advise me what he recommended for me, which is what you want, but I was silly and thought he’d be really chatty, as I was, but not many surgeons I’ve seen, I’ve found are like that, professional is best though.

I felt like he was perfect for me and I wouldn’t have gone with him if I had any doubts 🙂

He answered them all, I think that’s just how he is, but I’m sure he will do whatever he think is best 🙂

If you need crease lowered having a big implant would increase the risks 🙂 what are your stats again chick xx

Yeah thats exactly what I liked about him which is why I trust he would have told me if I needed the crease lowered!

I’m only 5″3, i weigh around 8 and a half stone but people always think I weigh alot less cos im quite small on top (size 4-6) when he first said he’d only go to 350 cc i thought they’d be too small but when i tried the 350 cc sizers on they did look huge so i think theyll be big enough! 🙂

I had a fake crease (crease lowered) 8 days ago…anazing results! It’s basicLky like an uplift! I can still see my old crease line a Tiny bit but they haven’t settled etc yet.. they are slowly filling out the crease line and I will be left with a lot of boob underneath my nipple where due to saggy ..previously I had none. Now there’s a whole lot if boob there ..

Ahhh thanks @leajade84 yeh thats what I’ve wanted from this, I want there to be much more boob under the nipple! Maybe I should ask my pc if i should discuss it with Traynor

I’m starting out my research and also have slight tubular breasts, haven’t seen anyone as of yet but heard Mr Traynor is very experienced and wanting to get the right person for the job.
Saw alot about lowering the crease also, I’m thinking I will probably need this!

Hey, yeh feel free to add 🙂 Mr Traynor did mine last Wednesday and I’m over the moon up to now!! He did make a lower incision to make up for the fact that I’m tubular which means I now have more breast under the nipple which is what I always wanted!

Such alot to consider, seems to be so many methods of correction for them…
I know your not supposed to discuss cost but I was wondering do they charge more because of the lowering of the crease?

Just accepted 🙂 There is alot to take in but it becomes so much clearer at the consultations and the surgeon will recommend what needs doing, which size would be best etc.

There was no additional charge for me, it was actually only on the day of surgery when I saw Traynor that I asked about the crease lowering as it wasnt mentioned at my consultation and he said oh yeh im doing that anyway cos your tubular – i think its only things like lifts, and areola reductions that are an additional cost 🙂

I’m 5″2 and 8 1/2 stone 32a not sure what size id end up with ..

@rosao hope you don’t mind the add, having my surgery with Mr Traynor in just less than two weeks and I’m yet to see a result with a lower crease! I keep worrying about the old crease being visible. Would love to have a look how yours have turned out! 🙂

@joanne28 hey no dont mind at all 🙂 i havnt actually seen my incision or anything yet as i’ve only had the dressings changed, so will be able to have a proper look next thursday – from my newer pic thought you can see that hes completely transformed the tubular boobs and theres more breast under the nipples which sounds silly but thats what i really wanted 🙂
