Need some advice which ones to go for my pc advised cui’s as she said that’s what she’s got and there’s more research behind them and although the implants have a lifetime guarantee its only the cost of the implant that is covered you still have to pay for the surgery.. I don’t know what to do for the best xx
Its supposed to cover the implant and £700 towards surgery I read somewhere. There is less chance of rippling with the natrelle but its completely up to u. U should ask the surgeon whats best not ur PC she isnt a doctor. Mine never pushed me towards either of them. I asked the surgeon and he said they are both good but he held up the cui and the natrelle to show the difference in the rippling and it was a no brainer for me xx
Natrelle definitely. They have more layers with cover you from rupture. It’s your body at the end of the day you wana get the best you can to minimize any problems in the future. I didn’t even get asked which I want cause my surgeon Dr Traynor only likes to use natrelle xxx
I had cui’s with mr traynor, he didn’t say a thing xx
Naturelle all the way they are better quality and better in shape and profile these are most popular implants and they use these n the USA as they have ban cui in USA for the sake of few £s IDE go with Naturelle as you will see the diffrence between them when there sat in front of you well for me anyway but every one is different x
Just keep seeing people who dont know the difference between the two, or keep messaging me asking, because i had the inspira responsives. So just thought it would be handy for people if i posted this..
Most surgeons dont mention the inspira range, unless u ask about them. I did my research before my op and decided i wanted to pay the extra for these implants.
The natrelle inspira range are still allergan the company that do the standard CUI’s bt the inspiras are ther ’premium’ range, also wot i believe to be the best on the market after doin research.
They have ’an additional layer of safety, for an added sense of security. The patented INTRASHIEL™ Barrier Technology is an additional safety barrier layer designed to minimize silicone gel diffusion. The unique shell design is composed of several high-performance silicone elastomer layers for enhanced shell integrity.’
Therefore if the implant ruptures (which there is only 1% chance) the silicone cannot leak into your body.
’The surface of an implant can either be smooth or come with BIOCELL™ texturisation. The textured range of breast implants in the Natrelle™ Collection feature a unique, proprietary surface texture technology known as BIOCELL™. BIOCELL™ technology gives superior tissue adherence, which helps maintain proper implant position within the breast. Clinical data also suggests that ALLERGAN’s BIOCELL™ Texture is generally effective in reducing the incidence of side effects like implant rotation and capsular contracture. Whether you and your surgeon choose textured or smooth implants, you won’t feel the texture or smoothness, as your own tissue will lie above the implant.’
The chances or capsular contracture and rippling are reduced and have little chance of occuring.
Plus they have a lifetime guarantee that covers the implant which made me think if the company are confident enough to tag these implants with that statement, they must be good! They are also FDA and EU approved, the CUI’s are not FDA approved.
When i went to my surgeon gary traynor, i told him i wanted as natural look as poss, with a slope and not the rounded look, i had it in my head that i wanted teardrop natrelle soft touch. he told me he believes teardrops (anatomicals)can have a lot of complications and just doesnt like to use them, so he suggested the round responsives, they are the least cohesive of the inspira range, the next being the soft touch which are slightly firmer. If you was to hold a responsive implant up by the edge, the silicone gel slightly falls to the bottom to achieve the natural slope. he also said these wud be best as im young and as i get older they wil act like my natural breast tissue.
Im sooo happy i went with his recommendation nw, i love them! they fall fab, jst how i wanted, and look so natural! depending on your current breast tissue, a surgeon may recommend the soft touch.
Hope this is of some help to people
xx
I dont want this to put anyone off CUI’s by the way! a lot of surgeons say they are just as good quality and i know a lot of girls that have had them and are over the moon with how soft they are etc, so im not saying there is anything wrong with them.
It was just my personal preference, and because i wanted them to be very natural looking.
xx
I found this hope it helps xx
Thanks girls:)) xxx
Jst by lukin at them u will knw which 1s u want I did nt knw which 1 was which and I picke them both up an straight away said that 1 ( naturelle) xx
That’s wot I did ash the Naturelle are a lovely shape just go for wot is right for your self x
Yep defo she had me dwn 4 cui too as my boyfriend giv me a limit of £3500 anything ova he said 4 get about it lol so they got them dwn to £3500 for me bt Nevis I wante naturelle best the cud do was £3945 so I payed the big extra 4 them. Well tuk out finance anyway lol xx
Yer ive gone for natrelle. Think mine are soft touch.
cui have been going for over 50 years, and never hardly any problems, naturelle, yes may have more pro’s to them but have only been around for 10 years… i had cui… ive not had any problems, i had unders, which look more natural… sometime i wish i had overs so you could tell lol, as mine look like my own and people dont even notice haha
i went from a small 32a to a 34 d/dd.. i had a very big chance of rippling due to me having so little breast tissue, but nope, nothing
best to ask your surgeon whats best for you, everyone on here is going to back whichever implants they chose which is fair enough, but there really is little difference and it usually comes down to surgeons preference, mine has suggested CUI for me as he thinks theres little difference and ill need a reop after children before 10 years anyway, but that’s me personally x
Both myself and my sister had CUI with Mr Traynor, my sis actually asked him which he recommended at her consultation and he said if the natrelle’s were the best that all surgeons would be using them, he also said he has been using CUI’s for 15 years and has not seen any problems with them. I think it is a personal choice at the end of the day, I went with CUI as I preferred the feel of them, I also think people easily misunderstand the lifetime guarantee on the Natrelle’s,
totally agree with you cheryl x everyone seems to hype because their the newer brand
like buying a ipad 5, when in reality they do nothing different to the ipad 1 or 2, accept the ipad 5 break down more haha
