Day 1 Pain

I had just opp yesterday or rather 9 hours ago and I’ve never experienced pain like it. I have a strong pain threshold so it’s been a shock to feel it. Surgeon said due to muscle cramps and will be gone next day. Is this right? It’s so painful I feel impossible it will go soon. Op went well and I’m managing to go toilet on my own. I’ve got bed wedge under mattress then v cushion and pillows on top – it’s very comfy just had few hours sleep thank god. The shaking from anesthetic was making me feel rubbish but that seems to have stopped x anyone else have theirs yesterday x

Hi Hun I’m 5days PO and has 325cc unders. I knew it would be painful but I didn’t anticipate just how painful. I read some people had very little pain or no pain after day 2/3, but I am still struggling and literally counting the days. My meds make me feel very sick also so Iv not had the best time. Just rest as much as you possibly can and don’t try and rush to do things if you don’t feel ready.
I tired to be Normal and go about things yestersay and it hurt so bad. Your body will tell you when it’s ready so don’t push and just go steady. Happy healing Hun xxx

Thanks Lorna hope your all good now and pleased with your results.. the thought of meds making me feel sick on top of the pain is not good poor you. Ive been taking anica (not spelt right) just had second dose and im praying that helps too. .. I jst want to feel normal again.. im seriously regretting my decision thinking why oh why did i put myself through this (im hopeing thats normal with the pain) x

Sabrina im still struggling and today is 5dpo. I read on here that pain isn’t as bad what you are thinking and I to thought this is going to be easy. Ive had 3 kids and one was 10lb so thought I had a high pain threshold. Just try and take each day as it comes. My best day was day 2 no swelling or pressure thought to myself this is a walk in park then bang it came back.

oh crist and there was me thinking its not so bad right now .. oh dear .. well lucky people who dont have too much pain, its far worse than labour lol .. Ive just been for a little walk around my house and cleaned my teeth and took more medicine .. thank god the stockings fit a dream x how are you feeling now x

Hey ladies , I am also really feeling the pain!!! 🙁 I had my op on Thursday so I am 2 days PO today.
I think one of the worst things is just the bloating!!!!! My stomach feels awful!
Can I ask what meds you e been given to take because I didn’t go with mya and I wonder if mine are different .

Meds! What medication did you girls get given? Not sure what one its called but its a muscle relaxer..
I got given penicillin, cocodemal/paracetamol (causes bloat an constepation) an another one which seriously helps with swellin all from muscles so try take it! Crushh it an drink it with juice if you have to as i did an really all works. An lots of water.

You gotta flush it all out an yourl be better gals lol xx

ROBAXIN is the med that relaxes your muscles an swelling helped with my inflated swollen left boob that felt like it was gonna explode.

Hi girls I was given codeine and antibiotics. Pain was horrific when I first woke up this morning, the struggle of getting out of bed is unreal! I didn’t get any muscle relaxer though 🙁 xx

I didn’t get a muscle relaxer either 🙁 just cocodemol and antibiotics.

I wish I was given the muscle relaxer because every time I get up or move I have muscle spasms in my boobs and my god it hurts!!!!!

I just got anti b, paracetamal and ibuthprothen ,, was offed codeine but makes me feel so ill x the breast pain isnt so bad for me atm (prob get worse again) I jst feel so ill and sick and keep being sick x
