Day 2 PO

Had my surgery on Thursday with Dr Andrea Giannitrapani. He is such a lovely man and I cannot fault his attention to detail and care of his patients. I had 270 cc UHP partials, couldn’t go any bigger as my pectoral muscle is tiny. I’ve uploaded a before and after as I know I found this helpful when researching. Obviously they have loads of dropping and fluffing to do but I’m hopeful they will turn out a nice shape and suit my frame.
I won’t lie to you I’ve been in agony when the painkillers wear off but keep topping them up and hope it gets better as the days go on. Seeing the nurse on Wednesday for the big dressings to come off. My surgeon doesn’t use strapping but a breast band instead, it’s pretty tight but is meant to be so just having to put up with it xx

Hi huni, thank you! Just accepted you 🙂 Andrea is brilliant and so friendly. I saw 2 other surgeons before him but he was by far the best choice for me. Not at all I was a tiny 34 AA with next to no breast tissue which is why I had partials and not overs. These take longer to heal I’m told and definitely seems that way today. Kim is fabulous and always there to help or reassure if you need it. What date in November are you? It will come round so quick and the nerves/excitement will keep building right up until you go down to surgery xx

I have op booked for 3 November …I’m currently a 32aa ! Having 300cc & 325 due to assyemtry. .. not sure if that will be too big or just right wanting to be a big c or a small d! Having partails hp x

Hi karis iv been trying to send you a message and it wont work. Im glad you didn’t wait long wish i hadnt. Im still really uncomfortable and cannot manage to do much. I didnt think it would be like this even after reading other people’s stories.. I had a long wait then when he eventually came to see me he had wrong patients info and went to mark me up with wrong implants i didnt have a clue until nurse came in to say he was mortified haha. But apart from that everything else was fine just glad she came in haha xx

Hi karis have they said how long you have to keep breast band on for. My nurse at hospital wasnt sure she said all surgeons are different a week maybe 2. Im at mya on wed to see nurse so will find out then hope its then its awful.. Im so out of breath but then i have just read thats ine of the side effects of antibiotics so not sure now x

You should definitely achieve that with 300/325 hun 🙂 aww Dawn I know exactly what you mean, didn’t expect this at all! I’m not sure either, Andrea said at my consultation 4 weeks but I’m not going to manage that. Also going to MYA on Wednesday for check up with the nurse so I’ll ask then. Olivia I woke up with breast band then the nurse put my Macom on so wearing both at the moment xx

Heyyy, if the breast band is too tight, loosen it up. He told me that if I was in pain then it’s too tight ☺️ X

Breast band is to make sure your implants don’t move up as the muscle softens so they don’t look fake and right under your chin my friend had to keep hers on a while but she got so fed up of it!

Hi karis how arw you finding sleeping? Im alqays first one asleep aa soon as head touches my pillows.. I cannot sleep iv been watching tv until 4 this morning nodded off amd now im qide awake im so fed up.. I mighy jave a great set of twins haha but im going to look 100 soon qith no sleep.. I even bought herbal sleeping tablets as i didnt want anything strong with taking painkillers and antibiotics.. But theybare rubbish. Wow i feel like im moaning all the time ?xx

No problem Michelle just accepted, hope it goes well 🙂 Hey Dawn, it’s a bit of a nightmare to be honest, I get comfortable and then slide down and I’m wide awake. So annoying! No you’re not moaning all the time huni, have you been icing them? I’ve found that helps quite a bit xxx

I iced them day after i got them done.. Havent since.. I havent even took my macom off since tue!!! Im gonna take it off later to wash it i have a asda post op one i will put on.. Im scared incase i do something to them that sounds stupid haha.. Im glad im not the only one keep sliding down haha i said to my husband before a little rubber ring would be ideal as my bum is always numb xx

Oo ok I’ve been icing for 2 days but haven’t needed to today. Aww bless you, I’ve had to take mine off to sort the band out and that. Not taking co-codamol today, sticking to the paracetamol and ibuprofen, the bloating just got way too much and feels loads better not taking it. Haha that’s it have to make a little fort of pillows round you to stay upright. Can’t wait to see them properly on Wednesday and take these massive dressings off xx

Yeah im there wed too… I stopped co codomol yesterday and iv only had paracetamol twice today so looking good… I couldn’t cope with the bloating and felt quite sick off them Hope we don’t have to wear this band for 4 weeks!

@dawnc how’s things been the last 2 days? I feel so much better now. Are you looking forward to seeing the nurse tomorrow. I’m desperate for her to clear me for showers, my bf and friends have been washing my hair but it’s just not the same. I’m going to stand under the water for ages lol. Also spoke to the nurse yesterday and she said if you are comfortable laying on your back then it’s ok to so tried it last night and was alright 🙂 xx

I cannot wait to have a shower karis. I also feel much better took my last antibiotic tonight thankgod.. Im getting my husband to waah my hair tonight for me my daughter has been doing it i just cannot wait to be doing it all for myself.. I still cannot lift arms right up and just manages ro tie hair up today mind is wasn’t great! do your boobs still feel real tight and hard? Xx

Aww bless her, bet she’s enjoying looking after you though. No I can’t totally lift my arms up either but get more movement every day. Oh yeah they are solid and look hilarious but have seen tiny changes in them, hopeful that this band is working. Not at all Lindsey 🙂 recovery is going ok thank you. When is your surgery and who is your surgeon? Do you know what size you’re having yet? Xxx

I feel like mine are really swolen and tight in the mornings when i get up.. But yeah every day i can do a little bit more.. Well good luck for tomorrow and hopefully we will both be spending the afternoon in our showers hahah.. Let me know how you get on xx

Oo fab ok, I had my surgery at Fitzroy and I’m Birmingham clinic 🙂 @dawnc still no bloody shower!! I was so annoyed when she told me but now thinking what’s a few more days of shallow baths lol. You healing ok? I can’t believe how tiny my incisions are, the mans a genius xx

Hi karis i got there and they didn’t even have me booked in!! But was seen ao was ok… I never saw my incisions but she said they were tiny and said lovely and neat… And yep no shower for another week!!!!!!!! I never washed ny hair last night neither haha thinking a lovely shower later.. But yeah no hardship another week of shallow baths…nurse told me i still have to sleep sitting up which isnt good but she said everything healing fab.. Yep dr gianntrapani is a boob god ?xx

OMG seriously! I’m glad they sorted it and saw you though. Aww good glad they are healing well and you are ok 🙂 No that’s it whats one more week in the grand scheme of things! It’s so strange how all the nurses seem to tell people different things. I’m back at work tomorrow, think it’s going to be a loooong day xxx
