Day 2 post op

Hi girls,
I had my BA on Tuesday and I’m wondering how normal it is for one breast to be more swollen than the other?
Also I have quite a lot of itching, does anyone know how long it takes for the swelling to go down
I literally can’t do anything for myself and its very frustrating.

I’m probably not the best person to respond to this as my op isn’t til 2 weeks yet! But I was told by surgeon and the nurse at my pre-op to treat each breast as a seperate operation and not be concerned in differences in the amount of swelling/pain/sensation between the two! As for the itchiness iv heard that’s common too 🙂 x

This time in 2 weeks I’m sure I will b the one with all the concerns and ul be calming me down :p x

I’m 8 weeks po and my right boob is still slightly different to my left boob, still hasn’t dropped as much as my left but sure it will catch up they do recover at different times, two separate operations happy healing xx
