Day 3 post op!

I had my boobs done on Sunday the 10th, 250cc unders. It’s the first time today that I am able to walk about and do small things. I am still in a lot of pain and it hurts to move about! I struggle on a morning to get up myself so do need a push. Just seems like my co-codamol tablets arent working because I am so sore! Meant to be able to drive and back to work by Monday, looking at it now I can’t see that happening.

Hi @cazza2p I had 275 unders on Sunday too, today is the first day I’ve been able to move about and I’m also very sore! I’m back to work on Monday and have to commute – bit worried tbh! Will see what nurse says on Saturday. Hope you’re recovering well xx

Hi Carrie I had mine done 6th April and was told by the nurse today I can’t drive for another week !!!! Xx

Hi sue, that’s not good I was told a week then I can drive too! Hiya elysia, I know the pain it’s awful! The only tablets I was given was distaclor, paracetamol and ibuprofen which aren’t great so I’m taking co codamol which is ok but I’m still hurting bad. That’s great if you’ve got a tablet that makes you feel like that I will have to speak to my PC and see if I can get some! Hope your doing well too x

Oh I am glad I am not the only one! I thought I was in a abnormal amount of pain! Right one is being just fine but the pain in my left is just so so bad!!!! Xx

ive got such a weird pain. My boobs don’t actually hurt – its right down my sternum which kills. 🙁

Guys i cant believe how painful this is. Im now on day 3 and this definatelg seems to be the worst day. (I have just woke up so i suppose this could be affecting my judgement). Ive read lots of forums where people have sailed through recovery and im just here almost in tears lol. Im praying the pain gets better as the day goes on. How u feeling today Carrie/ladies? Xxx

Hi ladies , I had my surgery yesterday, I had 350cc HP. Yesterday I was pretty normal just abit heavy and achy. Today my arms are so dead and I’m more aching than pain, has anyone else got the strapping on? Xx

Hi katy, I know the pain for the first 3 days is awful! I know how you feel wanting to cry. I’m day 6 now and yesterday I washed my hair myself bending over the bath and I can get out of bed and do most things. Day 4 you should feel a difference! I hope you feel better very soon xx

I feel exactly the same as all you girls I’m in a lot of pain I had 250 unders on Wednesday, still can hardly move , crying from the pain but sleeping absolutely fine haha! Hope I feel more normal after the weekend because I really want to wash my hair haha

Phew, reading this has made me feel a whole lot better. I had my Op yesterday at the 10am and the pain is just unbelievable today. My pain killers don’t seem to be working, my left boob is much more worse than my right, my chest is so tight, and sitting up seems impossible ?.. I can’t lift my arms up to tighten my bobble in my hair, ha ha and I haven’t had a good nights sleep. I thought this was unnormal as I’ve seen a lot of girls writing on here that their recovery is fine, so thankyou ladies! I hope your all feeling much better now xxxx

Hey Rosie! I know I thought mine was abnormal too that’s why I wrote this post. The first 3/4 days are not nice but my day 6 you should be able to move your arms more and get out of bed like I could. I took co codamol for 3 days which may have helped not too sure tbh. I hope you feel much better soon xx

It’s ok! And That’s good 🙂 I’m back to work now, boobs feel a bit bruisey but fine. I’ve been driving too. I’m 12 days post op now x
