Day 6 po still swelling ??!

Hi ladies, I’m post op day 6 today and am still swelling I feel stiff underneath my arms again.. Is this normal ? I had dual plane / partials 380cc

It has been like this yesterday and today

I’m day 6 po with ba uplift I have notice that the swelling comes and goes today the swelling seem bad and in abit more pain! Will ask the nurse tmw when I go for the check up !

hi, im 12 days PO and my right is still swollen and still under my arm, sore when i lift it and cant lift my arm fully like my right, this boob is also bruised and hasnt dropped like my left so my nipples arnt even…annoying lol,,,but your only 6 days PO you have a lot of days left to be stiff and swollen lol, also i had 430 UHP Overs so its nothing to do with my muscles xxx

Ah I’m glad I’m not the only one then and it’s normal lol thanks ladies I feel better now . I have my check up tomorrow as well and I just realised I’m 7 days po today I lost a day somewhere haha ! No pain tho just muscle aches thank god . Were you ladies given exercises to do ? I was told keep arms by my sides no heavy lifting that’s it xx

God i did A few mistakes on that post, i ment i can lift my left arm fully but not the right lol, i didnt get told to do any excercises but been googling stuff lol, ive been lifting my arms but only after a week when i could see my incisions xxx

lol i always make mistakes when im using my phone on here 🙂 ive been using my arms where i can but not stretching them or pulling and pushing anything just in case. Its near impossible not to move your arms tho ! I have feeling coming back more now too .. How many days post op are you @Leighanne ? xx

Im 12 days now, and i’ll admit ive been doing everything i shouldnt, mopping floors, hoovering, picking my 2 year old up, cleaning the cooker, washing clothes lol BUT i ran out of the cocodamol on day! and ive been taking 2 ibuprofen and 2 paracetamol together since then so that might be why lol…ive never had to wear a front fastening top either, the day after my surgery i had to get a taxi, train, train, metro, and taxi just to get home, carrying my handbag…that was testing lol xxx

LOL your the same as me keep doing bits of housework anyway .. bet your gettin told off for it too 🙂 Its hard to sit and rest when you know things need doing they wont just do themselves , and your little one will want to be picked up for cuddles how can you resist ? lol . I stopped my meds by 2nd day i think it was , cos they made my head feel fuzzy so feel much better without them. Saw the nurse today for post op thingy and she said all looks ok just use some dressings with the tape cut off for comfort now to stop my scars rubbing. made me wear the strap alot tighter tho not liking that at all . what about you ? do you have to wear a strap ? xx
