I know an overnight stay costs more but the Hosp is almost 2 hours away and I’m worried I have problems and going to be backwards and forward and I’d rather stay in their care a little longer but then I don’t want to have an over nigt stay and ten be thinking omg I just wanna go home to my own bed!! Don’t know what to do help. Ops not booked but they Ee holding the 16yh December for me until I have another op with dr mounir on the 21st of this month to see if he offered bigger if I’m happy with what e says il have the 16thdec, maybe I’m just being silly cx

Hi Hun why don’t u look at staying in a hotel close to hospital, I’m 1 and 1/2 hours away from highgate and I’m staying in a hotel over night just to be close .

Yeah I wondered about this too, I live in Leicestershire which is an hour away on the train then the tube, I didn’t want to drive cuss I thought the traffic will be horrible in London but I wondered how I would feel on a busy train? X

Well my partner would drive, I might do a bit of research and see what it would be like to drive there instead of the train and I’ll let you know, I might even ring the highgate and ask them about the traffic. Xx

They advise if you live more than an hour away it’s best to stay in a hotel the first night just incase there are any problems and you need to return. Obviously staying in hotel is a hell
Of a lot Cheaper than overnight at the hospital. I’m just going in as a day case as live
Less than hour a away x

Yeah it’s hard to know what to do, I’m the sort who will just want to get home and I have kids but I suppose if anything goes wrong it’s best to be near. X
