day case confused

Hi I’m down as a day case does that mean Il get procedure then go straight home? I actually wanted to stay over night just cos I’m so nervous 😖

I was overnight case as my PC did not mention about day case at all. If I knew I would have gone for it . Even if you are a day case they will keep you in the hospital after procedure as long as they are sure you are absolutely fine You will get small meal to eat, tea or coffee and biscuits 🙂 Don’t worry, in general, surgery takes about half an hour. It is really absolutely safe to recover at home as long as you are about 20 min from nearest hospital. x
