Day case.. How long do u stay in after ??

Have my op Sunday .. How long after do they keep u in for ? Do u have to eat before they let u go or ? xx

My admission time was 9 am on a Sunday, went down about 12 and left at 6. It just depends on how you’re getting on, make sure you’ve managed to get up, walk around etc and that you’re feeling ok xx

Thanks Hun .. Just wanna b there now all this waiting is killing me .. Do I need to take slippers & dressing gown ?? And can u wear knickers ? Xx

I know the few days before I was driving myself crazy lol, at least once you get your admission time you can get yourself sorted. Well I took cotton knickers, slippers and a dressing gown but they have me paper knickers, big like flight socks and throw away slippers so didn’t need anything lol, think it depends which hospital you go to xx

I will probably take it all anyways .. Like to b over prepared lol ..To hot for pjs at mo let alone a dressing gown thou.. Just canst wait hurry up Sunday :0) xx

Yeah better to have it just in case. Yeah the strapping and big sports bra aren’t pleasant in this heat lol! Good luck, hope it all goes well 🙂 xx

Good luck for sunday luv…they give u paper knickers to put on + yr sexy gown + stocking, also paper slippers to walk to theatre with x x

The nurse said to me about 5 hours after your op! It’s just when they feel you are ready and you feel you are ready!xx

The nurse said to me like like to keep you in for at least 4 hours after surgery and wont let you leave until you can use the loo on your own. I used the loo 3 hours after and she said I could go. mxxx

ps they made me wear those awful itchy pants!

My admission time was 7.30 I had my op at about half 10 was back in my room by quarter to 12 then left hospital at 4pm. X

i felt sick from the GA so couldnt eat and i had my op at about 9am n didnt leave til 10pm but that was my fault lol coz i refused the anti-sickness injection!! gonna ask them if they can inject me while im still asleep this time round.. x
