Hey girls was just wondering if there were any girls out there who had day cases and skipped going to a hotel for the night. I live 2 hours from the hospital and was contimplating skipping the hotel and just driving straight home after my BA (I’m not driving) Anyone done this? Or would the drive be unbearable? I’m having overs done if that makes a difference in pain level. Xo
If I hadn’t had everything else done as well as the BA I would have managed the 2 hr trip home, I had overs I’m 17 days PO n still haven’t experienced any pain from them yet!
I know everyone’s different but overs are meant to be the least painful x
I didn’t last time, but doing it this time as I can’t sort child care like I did last time. Iv seen others do it and live over three hours away. In all honesty if the nurses think your not fit to go home, they keep you in over night free. Just keep the 24/7 yellow nurses card nearby by, and a route to hospital as a last resort xx
Hey hun it took me about an hour and a half to drive and I didnt stay in a hotel 🙂 Was fine, just take a pillow for the car journey home and you should be fine! x
