Day four post op

Day four post op has been a bit better than day 3 which was awful. I have had to cut the strapping under my arms as it cut all my skin. I have been on my own today so was quite a struggle to get up and I found myself sliding down the bed to sleeping flatter. I am still very sore and painful but think I am coping with it well. My boyfriend gave me a shallow bath and hair wash so I feel a bit more human. Hoping its onwards and upwards from now. 🙂

The first week is awful i thought i would never be able to do anything for myself again! i’m 10 days po now and it started getting better after 1 week for me, now i feel loads better and hopefully you will soon xxxx

Aw yeah woke up today feeling the same as yesterday. Did your movement improve a lot after a week? Getting fed up even though I knew what I was putting myself in for X

I felt exactly the same, didn’t think i would ever feel better or normal again! I was up and moving about properly at about day 7 post op, now i’m day 10 po and feel almost normal again apart from abit of a heavy chest. make sure you are keeping up with your painkillers! are you still taking the antibiotics?x xx

Knew it wasn’t just me its just so disheartening. I have my strapping off Monday so not long to go 🙂 Glad u are healing well. I am still on antibiotics but have stopped talking pain killers as they made me feel really ill and I am exhausted anyway
