Day of surgery

Can anyone tell me what to expect on the day of surgery? My admission time is 1pm and just wondering what happens in the couple of hours before you actually go through! Just want to know what to expect! xx

Im thinkin same hun n have I got everything I need for the day. NervNerves are startin to kick bk in xx

Hi Hayley. The surgeon will come and draw on you and get you to sign the consent forms. You will b introduced to the anethmatist and get changes into the lovely hospital gown. You will also get a fashionable bracket with your details on it xx

Thanks Sarah, do they take blood or anything?! Chanel I am so nervous now…tomorrow is going to drag I know it!!! Keep thinking I’m going to forget something or something will happen so I can’t have it done, just doesn’t seem real haha x

No they don’t take blood. You’ll be walked down to surgury, lie on a bed in a side room have some gas then your out cold. It only took about an hour and half til I was done and coming round. Depending on your surgeon u may have drains. Try not to overthink it, you’ll stress yourself out. Just enjoy it sounds weird but it’s best thing I ever did x

Thank you Sarah, I know I just need to stay calm. It’s like too good to be true though and can’t imagine having big boobies…just cant believe its happening haha god I sound physco haha x

Oh gosh I dreamt I had it done now ive woke up im like wheres my boobs lol.. one more day of havin no boobs… they use gas sarah? Xxx

My admission is 1pm 🙂 now on the less than 24 hour countdown!!! I’m very bloody emotional though…just went shopping and seeing massive bras made me teary (happy tears) this is turning me into a weirdo haha!! What time are you in Chanel?! x

Oh mines 9.30am..scary lol.. also I feel sick me. Got a serious boob obcession..good luck n let us no how it goes. U stayin over night xxx

Wow that’s a late admission… lucky you! You’ll probably be taken down within the hour.

I had a very fast turn around. It started off with being shown to my room, the nurse came and took a urine sample to do a pregnancy test then took my bloody preassure and asked me to change into my gown and compression socks.

I then briefly met the lovely aetheastist who asked if I had any allegies.

Then my surgeon came in to draw on me. That’s when it felt real and I had a little cry. And within being drawn on, 15 minutes later I was walking down to theatre. I was taken into the small side room where I laid down and they put the canular in to put me under. I got myself a little worked up then so I calmed myself down and before I realised, I woke up with new boobies and lipo completed!!

They then bring you back up to your room on the bed and you rest for a few hours. Then they’ll try you with some tea and toast and from there keep checking your drains etc.

No just day too im an hour away. What time qas ur admission becky n when was your op xx
