I’ve always had very large areolas and they normally looked alright on my boobs (showing too much with some tops!). But my boobs have started to sag and shrink slightly over the last couple of years so now looking at getting them enlarged. Currently a B Cup, looking to go to D Cup. I’m concerned about the size of my areolas after the Op though. Have any of you guys which have gone through the procedure had large areolas? Many thanks. 🙂
Guess I’m quite unique lol! I’ll be booking an appointment soon so hopefully I’ll know then. Really hope it won’t stop me having the Op.
I have big areolas and I have my consultation this weekend. I’m a little nervous because I think they might say an uplift too because the areola takes over my boob and Lower boob! What are your stats? And what are you planning on having?
How did your consultation go hun? Im 36B at the mo but looking to go D or E using over.
The consultation was very informal and went quite quick. For some reason I thought they’d go into more detail and talk more about what I want. She recommended a surgeon before even talking about what I wanted really. But the surgeon she recommended has always had good reviews (Dr Traynor). I asked her if she would look at my boobs to see if I need an uplift and she said I didn’t. From then seeing my boobs she said overs would look good because of the loose skin from breastfeeding. I asked her about the different shapes and I said from doing my research round might be more suitable to give my lifeless pair some shape. So I’m going to book in mid march to see the surgeon and then hopefully have the op in the Easter holidays as in a teacher. I did think it would be a more thorough consultation but it was more a chat really. Have you had your consultation? What did you think when you went, were you expecting more? Xx
My first consultation was a bit like that rebecca then i went to a different surgeon and it was a whole different ball game. All info was given and questions answered and good solid advice. so your next appointment with the actual surgeon will prob be better.
@sabrina thanks for your comment. I’ve been talking on and off with my HP over email and she’s been nothing but helpful. Think I got confused with what her job actually was. I can’t wait to see the actual surgeon and get this show on the road. Who is your surgeon and when is your BA?
You two girls are making the whole process sound so stress free! I just need to get brave enough to start the ball rolling now!
I had my surgery last weekend I have my post op today, cant wait to get out of the strapping. I didnt go with MYA I went with the breast expert. I seemed to get carried along Lou and ended up having the op before I even knew it haha, it was actually stress free. I saw 3 different surgeons all with great reputations and reviews to make sure I got the correct advice and then chose the one I felt gave me the best advice. x
