Depo injection…..any issues for op?

Hi all, keep seeing comments about stopping the pill before op. I have the depo provera injection which last 3 months. Does anyone know if this causes any issues?

Thanks. I’m guessing I should still let nurse know at my pre op check. But glad you responded as was starting to worry! I’d not long had it ????

Ye just let them know, it was one of the questions on my initial paperwork and when my surgeon read it he said that it doesn’t matter so you will be fine, I had mine 7 days before my op xx

I’m still pre-op but I’m also on the injection and asked the nurse she asked my surgeon and told me it’s totally fine to stay on it.
