Did anyone feel like their boobs were under their armpits post op?

Hey girls…
I had my op yesterday and I’m in SO much discomfort.
My boobs feel like they are rock hard and under my armpits!
I have a huge gap Inbetween…. Do they get any closer together ?
Also, has anyone taken their own bandages/strappings off before the post op check up? I hate them! They are so uncomfortable and restricting. Sorry for the moan x

I did at first but it goes. It depends about the gap as when the skin stretches and they settle the will look more natural but if you had natural wide breasts they will stay this way post op. all surgeons are different. I had Dr Schiavone and he didnt use bandages so i didnt have this problem 🙁 sorry hun x

Hi Hun try and leave your bandages on for at least four days . That’s what I was told ,its important to hold them in a good place I’m sure it will help with the finished look. I was told not the wear a bra for four days I do have a lot on bandages don’t feel like a bra would contribute lol. My pre op nurse did say if they become saw you can cut the bandage under the armpits but to leave as much on to be taken of by MYA nurse so you don’t damage the scar area .x congratulation on your new boobs . I’m picking at the bandaging now…. I knew I would! Just trying to loosen it up a bit.
I don’t get why some women are covered in bandages, and some are left just with like a plaster on the wound lol.
Would have preferred the plaster 🙁 xxx

I’m not sure y either , the way mine are bandages up is crazy can only see my nipples lol.:) x

Hi girls, usually if you have unders you get strapping, although some surgeons do it with overs too. Boobs always get closer together as they drop and soften, mine were like two rocks two miles apart on my chest, but they’re all soft and squidgy and together now! It’s hard to be patient, but they will change so much over the next few days/weeks x

They. Do get closer 🙂 then did as soon as my strapping was off! And it feels like a elephant haha hope your ok x x
