Didn't get given a choice of surgeon?

Hi all

Had my first appointment yesterday and met my PC. She was lovely but I’m not sure if she went through everything? She went through why I wanted them, what sort of look I wanted, showed me three types of implants so I could see what they were like and went through recovery, time of work and prices. I did mention on the phone when I made the appointment that I’d prefer my surgery to be at preston because it’s the easiest one for me and I was basically asking if it was ok to pick a hospital before I trailed to see the PC and to get told I couldnt. So the lady on the phone said yes that’s fine, and my PC yesterday just basically said it will be Mr Traynor at Preston. I’m assuming they’ve told my PC I wanted preston, but I wasn’t expecting them to just pick a surgeon for me? Obviously I’ve seen a lot about him on here and he seems very good, just wondering why I wasn’t given any choice or told about any other surgeons they have? Or is that just normal procedure?

Sorry about the essay, it’s a lot of money and I want to make sure I’m getting a good service!!

I also wasn’t given a choice of surgeon. They just told me that I was having him. Luckily I liked him at my consultation and my PC said he was great surgeon and had done one of her friend’s boobs, who loved them. I trusted that, and he did an excellent job on mine. But I would have liked to choose my surgeon. If I hadn’t been comfortable him, I would have asked to see somebody else. xxx

you can query it! they will give you a choice if you want one! it just might not be at preston
ask your PC if there are any other surgeons to choose from
also ask her why she chose Mr Traynor
I was given Mr mounir as I had expressed I had seen his work but I could have seen dr kazzazzi too and I siad I liked some of mr traynors work and she said i could see him but i’d have to travel even for my consultation as he doesnt come to the leeds clinic

if you ask her why im sure she will explain and if you ask for other surgeon options she should go through them with you
and if you meet him and arent happy with the choice you can also request to see a different surgeon for a consultation for a secnd opinion or because you would prefer to try another

I never got a choice either but I have Dr Traynor and his reputation is great so I’m happy with it. All of the MYA surgeons are great I haven’t heard any bad reviews so far. X

Ah right I feel better now! I don’t mind that I’ve been given him, I sort of had him in mind to be honest before I met my PC. But I just thought have I been given the least popular one or something?! Haha maybe it is because of I chose a particular hospital, and I did say I wanted a natural look that would suit my shape. Meeting him next Friday, apparently he’s very straight to the point! Now I’m excited!! 🙂

Mr kazzazi gave me 600cc so he does do bigger boobs x

I had Mr Traynor to he was great I didn’t want a fake look they look so natural and my incisions are perfectly straight and healing well. Straight to the point your in great hands x
