I’m booked in to have my BA a week on Monday and I have to say the lack of communication is really concerning me. My patient co-ordinator never answers her phone and rarely texts me back when I have questions about my procedure. I regularly have to chase this up myself with reception and sometimes I still won’t get a reply from my patient co-ordinator. I booked my procedure a few months ago and my patient co-ordinator was very attentive and helpful at first, always texting and calling to see if I’ve made a decision. But since I booked my BA and paid my deposit the communication has been terrible. I won’t get a reply from my patient co-ordinator for days and reception sometimes don’t answer the phone. The first couple of times i just thought they were busy so i was patient, but it’s happened numerous times now and I’m starting to get annoyed – especially as it’s so close to my op.
I’m honestly not one to complain but I can’t help but feel concerned, if I am post op and something goes wrong who would I contact? I’m paying a lot of money for this procedure and it’s something I’ve wanted so badly for years, after months of research Mya always came out on top and the main thing for me was the brilliant aftercare I’ve been reading about so I expected more from such a reputable company but I’m losing faith in them. Doesn’t give me much confidence for my op on the 27th On the plus side my surgeon has been lovely.

What you having and what surgeon ? I wouldnt be too worried hun if maybe your pc is probably with a patient they will always definitley get back to you and i had cc post op and the aftercare and communication has been 100% really impressed and so over the moon i chose mya . I thought id comment to give you some reassurance i hope this makes you feel better hunni! 10 days to go! Xx
Ruth I couldn’t agree more with you! My first consultation was terrible. I was basically told that I could have 600cc and that was that. I wasn’t even shown an implant let alone asked to try them on for size and all my PC was concerned about was booking a date for surgery. Needless to say I was quite overwhelmed but when I got home and had time to reflect I rang the clinic back up and told them how disappointed I was and I am going back for my second consultation on Monday. This time I am going to take a list of questions to ask and photos of what I want. I am having rhino as well and wasn’t even asked what I wanted doing. Its great that you like your surgeon because mine was extremely rude and didn’t have anytime for me whatsoever xx

I was having the same problems! my consultations were getting cancelled on the day or day before, my PC wasn’t getting back to me for days sometimes up to a week and I kept thinking I am paying loads of money and this is a big deal so need to feel comftable! I have now decided to go with Holly House hospital in buckhurst hill, only £100 and you stay in overnight. I feel so much more calm now, I was in my initial consultation for about an hour and he really listened to what I wanted.
I just think if your worried always shop around x
