Disappointing day ????

So I met Mr Traynor today, I really found him cold and blunt, I had read forums about him but nothing really prepared me for how almost rude he seemed. I can’t for the life of me remember what size was the size he recommended for me was (I’m waiting for emily my PQ to get back to me) I believe it was 450 however it seemed so small when I tried them on in the MYA bra with emily… she was lovely and explained that the actual implants would look much fuller, rounder and larger once in but I’m just not happy, I’m 5/6 and my weight fluctuates between 9stone5 and 10stone5 I just felt that what I tried on wouldn’t suite my shape and would almost be lost on my larger frame… I have another meeting with Dr Traynor booked in now for the 6th and pre ops next Thursday. I feel so sad and disappointed now as I was counting the days down but now I’m having massive second thoughts. ????????

Hey I had a consultation with him today aswell. I heard a lot about him being blunt. I went with my mam and I found it helped him be a lot more talkative and he kind of warmed to us. He was very straight to the point and even told me my boobs were fine the way they were and that I didn’t even need surgery lol. I think he just tells it how it is and that can come across being cold. He seemed nice enough in the end. I guess it’s just like a conveyor belt of girls in one after another x

He did make some funny comments. I said to him I want my boobs to be more fuller and he said do you know how you get that .. He said a good bra not a breast augmentation lol. X

Hey I didn’t have Traynor but he is a very experienced surgeon and seems to know his stuff. 450cc is a large implant tbh I’m not sure how much larger u were expecting to get. Once they’re inside they do fill out, the sizers are just a guide. End of the day ur gona be carrying 900g of silicone so that’s bound to make a difference to ur current size.

When going for implants the surgeon takes into account a series of measurements and ur breasts can only stretch so much esp for the first ba. Many women opt to have a second ba a year or two afterwards once their breast pocket and skin has stretched if they want larger implants. Bare in mind u can get rippling if u go too big and have back problems too.

If ur really disappointed with what u have been offered discuss it with him at ur next op and ask him to explain his decision because it seems u didn’t ask him at the time and don’t understand.
Also ask him what projection you are having and if it’s overs or unders. All of these things will play a part in how ur boobs will finally look so try not to be disheartened.

The more u kno the better equipped u are to manage ur own expectations and not feel dissatisfied with ur end results tht can take up to a year to show not overnight as some people think.

Hello Emma, I had surgery with Mr Traynor this week. I fle the first time he was blunt, rude even as I’d try to make an effort with conversation and he just didn’t really talk. However don’t let this put you off. It’s hard not to but just remember, he isn’t like the PC’s there he isn’t supposed to be chatty, he’s a highly skilled professional surgeon. He is an amazing surgeon at that aswell. When I met him on the day of surgery he still wasn’t chatty, but I got a smile out of him! He really is lovely, but an extremely busy man. Everyone seems to be wanting mr traynor lately, his work speaks volumes. And don’t worry about the implants, 450 is a brilliant size! I understand your weight fluctuates did you raise this with Mr Traynor? My 350 looked tiny at mya in the sports bra I’m not even sure why they do this as it looks like ridiculously small to how the implant actually looks once in. Hope you can get the implant size you want, I was told by mr traynor he wouldn’t go higher than 350 and I trust him. Mine actually look bigger and bigger each day xxxxxx

My PC asked who i wanted and i told her I wanted Dr. Monuir so that’s who I am getting.

I based my decision on research and feedback for each surgeon. They both have a amazing result feedback however everyone has seem more comfertable with Monuir and I wasn’t looking to have surgery with anyone i might find arrogant or rude. I would simply struggle with trusting them in making the experience positive.

If you are not happy with your surgeon choice then ask to see someone else xx

Thanks for the kind word and advice. Yeah emily my PC said that they would look much bigger and better. Hoping that when I go on the 6th I just feel more comfortable and happier with everything. Xx

@em-baileyx · Yeah that was probably me. But I know what you mean he did seem blunt still and not very talkative almost asif he didn’t want me to have it done. My dates the 25th April. I’m going to try and get another appointment with him if I can to ask some more things. X
