Dissolving stitches ??…

How long does it usually take for stitches to dissolve? I’m 3 weeks post op tommorow and they are still poking out a bit and I can still feel them!? I’ve read a bit about massaging the stitches and stuff? Anyone know what’s best? Xxx

Make an appointment to see your nurse, they can advise you. Let them have a look before you do anything yourself. The bits that stick out won’t dissolve but they might fall off when you’ve healed further. Your nurse might snip them off for you. X
