Do Every surgeon use drains??

Do every surgeon use drains guys? I’ve heard they really hurt being taken out?

Not every surgeon does also depends on the patient

I had drains in general they don’t hurt, you can’t feel them until they’re taken out and then it’s just discomfort for a few seconds. One of mine got stuck which is that makes it painful if they have to tug on them x

Hey Hun, I had my op today an Marion used drains, I cried before the nurse took them out as my chest hurt a little so I panic that they would also hurt coming out, we’ll I feel silly now as it didn’t hurt one bit an my slight chest pain had gone due to the drain coming out. Honestly I took a few deep breaths an they were out in seconds. So honestly u have nothing to worry about!! Xxx

Not all surge,on use drain first op no 2nd op yes they have r discomfort feels weird hope this elapsed x
