Do I complain or do I just get over it?

So I’m currently doing my late night implant/ uplift research and catching up on the forum topics.
I came across an interesting and really helpful conversation about sagging of the breast and if someone would need an uplift or just implants. I strolled down and had a look at one of the uploaded photos and it’s the same shot my PC had sent me when I had asked for the recommended new to MYA surgeons work. So I thought great I will contact her and ask her about her experience with that surgeon as he is new and there’s not much, well not anything about him on the forum, that I have come across anyways. BUT the Girl had stated who her surgeon actually was. And it is not the same surgeon!!!

Since I met up with the recommended surgeon my gut was telling me to check out another surgeon and I wasn’t 100% happy so I have booked a consultation to see another which is next Tuesday. But I am just really disappointed that the PC would think that is even okay to do! should I make a complaint about her and ask to have another one? I don’t know if they get commission out of recommending a surgeon or helping towards some decisions or guidance they give you during your process, but if they do I definitely do not want her to get any commission out of me when she has given me the wrong information and completely lied about a surgeons work. But to be fair commission or no commission I just don’t think that was an okay move…

They do get commission but im not sure if itd make a difference i guesd they stock pile pics she may have been confused x

She was literally dead certain it was his work, I did ask her a number of times to make sure and she was adamant.
Maybe because he’s new they didn’t have any of his work but even still if that was the case why would you send me someone else’s work.
I don’t know maybe im being a little bit of a drama queen but it has annoyed me lool.

I’d be annoyed to. It’s like showing you a picture of a car your looking to buy then you turn up and they give you a different model. It’s not on really is it. We pay a lot of money for these procedures so the least they can do is tell the truth. It may be a genuine mistake and that particular photo got mixed up but it still doesn’t fill you with much confidence. We spend weeks/months researching and to end it feeling disappointed is a bit gutting. If your not happy Hun then I’d either contact your PC and see what they have to say or just change surgeon full stop. There’s plenty of amazing surgeons who work alongside MYA. I’m in with Dr Mounir on 24th July for a BA and uplift. Xx

Im definatly going to another surgeon because clearly that one she recommended doesn’t have much of a portfolio yet.

But I was recommended Dr Mashhadi, but have a consultation with dr Fiumara on Tuesday so hopefully will book with her.

@reanneh I would be complaining if I was you, that’s basically false advertisement. When you’re paying so much money, you want to see genuine work of your surgeon. I believe the PCs do get commission yes, thinking about it now, my PC didn’t show me any of the surgeons work that I have picked.. I’ve only seen loads of pictures on here! x

Just hoping Tuesday with a different surgeon goes well.

That is a little bit naughty. I’d always recommend seeing a second surgeon. I saw two (mr Netri and mr Mounir)
Netri is new to MYA, he’s from Transform. He was nice but I just felt a lot more comfortable with mr Mounir and I liked that he had been with MYA and I could see all of his work first hand on the forum.

Sorry to hear this hun! I had Dr Fiumara for a ba and mini uplift and she is amazing. Always trust your gut despite an unfortunate situation sharing it has probably helped quite a few girls realise the importance of research and double checking stuff. Fingers crossed it won’t happen again to anyone else in future and good on you for voicing it as it’ll help the customer service with the PC and girls approaching Mya x

@fran32 hey hun funny you replied because it was actually your before and after I was sent.
Your right people definitely have to be so careful and make sure they do research.
It has definitely made me feel a little bit unsure about them to be fair. But third time lucky with Dr fiumara.

Omg! I’m bloody fuming now!!! Dr Fiumara doesn’t get enough props on here so I try to update and add pics to threads as often as I can as so many girls are scares to have an uplift. I hope that Pc hasn’t done this to anyone else now! Fxx
