Do I just have a enlargement or uplift

I seen the surgeon today who told me I need an uplift but there is another surgeon who would do the implant without the uplift who he recommended,! I didn’t think I needed an uplift until I seen the surgeon and now I’m left confused, is there anyone who didn’t choose the uplift and are happy with results? Any probs with sagging etc

Hi hun. I went in with the idea of just wanting an enhancement but my boobs sit very low and I, like you am an empty 34D. I saw a surgeon who wasn’t from MYA who was willing to just do the Enhancement but then I went to see Dr Mounir who actually told me to leave them, but said if I insisted on having an enhancement then I was basically asking for trouble as because my boobs sat low and empty I was basically just going to end up with big low boobs and he didn’t want to do that to me. So I went away and had a think and went for the uplift too which I really didn’t want to put myself through however after I thought about it logically, it made sense what he was saying. All I’d say is think about it, have a think how big you actually want to be because if you do have low empty boobs, just having implants will just give you big low boobs, if that makes sense?

Yes that’s makes perfect sense, I’ve been looking through all the forums and there’s a few ladies that’s just gone for implants with good pics but none recently so wandering how there looking a year later etc, can u send me so before and after pics please? Wht size r u now? And also what’s the scarring like? Sorry for all the questions

I was like you, I didn’t think I needed an uplift until I met the surgeon but after he went through everything with me it made sense. With the implants alone, my boobs would just be bigger droopy boobs rather than small droopy boobs haha.

I was around an A/B cup but my nipples were quite big and sat low down and I didn’t have any volume at the top so I guess that’s why the surgeon said I needed an uplift as well.

I would trust what the surgeon is saying, I’m so glad I did. I feel like I didn’t want to pay all that money for them to not be right so the extra money to have the uplift as well is worth it.

I’ve attached a photo of my before and after so you can see what the scarring is like. I’m only 2 weeks post-op so the scars look pretty red at the minute.

Thank you for the pics they told me the other surgeon would happily do the implants I’m seeing him on Monday so can see what he says but I know if I just have implants I will need an uplift in 5years plus

I saw one surgeon who said she would only do uplift. The 2nd one and the one I choose saw he was happy not to do uplift for now & see how results turned out. He said it was to do with measurement of under boob and nipple position.
I was happy with not having uplift as I didn’t want the scars!

I was 32E pre kids, 32B after baby 2 and no idea yet as only 18DPO. I reckon around 32D/DD

Pre kids 32E, post feeding baby 2 32B but very empty….no idea now, I’m only 17DPO but wearing a recovery bra which is for 32D/DD. My request to surgeon was to fill the empty skin rather than get to certain size so he had an easy job ?
