Do they still do nicotine tests?

Just wondered if anyone on here has recently had ba and had a nicotine test?

Not sure if all surgeons perform a test but nicotine in the blood on the day of ur op can cause serious issues with ur oxygen levels and some surgeons refuse to operate on u as its compromising the proceedure and can cause major issues with post op healing.

Yeah i understand that. I have stopped and been using a vape I was just wondering if it was something mya still did before surgery.
I’ve read lots of diff things about people not stopping and smoking right up until surgery day.
I asked mr traynor about stopping smoking and he said it wasn’t a necessity but I’ve done it anyway to cover my back xx

That’s great hun least u have covered urself either way. I think my friend Donnaxx was a smoker u could contact her and find out, her surgeon was Traynor.
