Do we need a Chaperone to drop us off?

Hi there,

My PC is off for the next couple of days so thought I’d ask on here. My surgery is booked for 20 August and admission time is 1pm. I was planning to make my own way there as my partner doesn’t finish work until 5pm. I’m staying overnight and he will be coming to see me after work and will be taking me home the following morning.
I was just confused by my admission time e-mail because it said to arrive with my chaperone!
Any knowledge is appreciated!
