Do you have to come off the contraceptive pill 4 weeks before op??

Hey girls, just wondering if anyone can answer my question as I think I’ve read it somewhere but don’t know how true it is

I had to 2 weeks before but I know some girls have had to 4 weeks before. Your nurse at your pre op will advise you on how long you need to stop taking it 🙂 xx

I had to stop 2 weeks before, at 3 weeks post op she told me to still not take it xx
