do you wear a sports bra straight afrer surgery over strapping?

Hi girls. i am going for surgery on the 13th and i am confused about sports bras. do we have to wear a bra straight after surgery over strapping? if so what is the best bra? and do we wear a different bra after the strapping comes off or the same sort still? sorry for all the questions i just want to get stuff bought and my bag packed and ready. thank you 🙂 x

You don’t have to wear one straight away, but u do when the strapping is off, but I’m 6 days post op and have been wearing a sports bra coz I feel more supported it helps ! I’ve just got marks and spencer sports bras, one is zip up! And get a bigger back size !!xx

My nurse told me to wear my sport bra straight away for extra support gd luck with everything Hun xxx

You don’t have to babe, I had surgery yesterday and I’m not wearing mine yet because I’m already so uncomfortable and itchy!

Confused about this as well as my PC told me I didn’t need to until the strapping comes off but the nurse at my pre-op told me I should? I guess I’ll take it with me on the day and ask again x
