Does every one have drains??

Wondering who and y did people have drains sound scary and painful

Not all surgeons use them it helps drain any excess fluid or blood top prevent swelling x

They don’t hurt! When they take them out its so quick.. Just feels wierd lol x

No not everyone have drains as it depends on each surgeon and what they prefer to use some like to use strappings some like to use drains some like to use no drains or no strapping…
The purpose of a drain is to get rid of any build up of unwanted fluid post surgery a tiny incision on both sides r made and are gently removed by a nurse afterwards…

Dose anyone know witch drs use these drains? now ive seen this im rather worried, just wanted to know if id wake up with these, lol. xx

Singh doesn’t use drains but he does use strapping. Had him a week ago 🙂 xx

Ok thanks I have heard it is a painful experience I’m a real wuss when it comes to pain

It doesn’t hurt, you shouldn’t be scared of drains.

What happens if they don’t use drains does that mean there extra fluid inside that shouldn’t be there. I’m thinking mr Kazzazi or mr Traynor? X

Drains are just a pain when you need the loo! Just a weird feeling coming out. It’s peeling the strapping off to get to the drain that hurts as it’s really sticky then.
