Hi very low today, had my dressing off yesterday the scars are awful and look puckered on one side and one crease is much much lower than the other, pretty sure I’m going to end up with significant double bubble too because where the crease has been lowered to is very much lower than where the implant sits and the void that will need filling between the old and new crease is far bigger than I think is possible to fill sorry for the moan x

So sorry you’re down Sparky. Did the nurse say anything when she took the dressing off? It’s very early isn’t it, so hopefully all will drop into place. Perhaps ring them on Monday and ask them to advise you. Maybe the surgeon could look at a photo – at least to try to put your mind at rest? x

Aww sparkly, don’t worry, I’m sure it’ll be fine, I can’t really see what you mean from the pic either. We’re all stressing over things and our emotions are all over the shop, so it’s understandable. This is a huge deal to each and every one of us. Like you…I’m not in my 20s lol and this has been a long time coming. Probably too long and with the discomfort worsening for me last night and some of today I get scared and so sit here thinking what the hell have I done. Why didn’t I just leave well alone. But tomorrow will be a better day (fingers crossed) 🙂 I don’t think I quite realised how long this process was, all the swelling and dropping and fluffing. Sheesh!!

You haven’t made a bad decision and in a few weeks time you’ll look back on this and slap yourself for worrying. xxx

Be proud of yourself hun, it takes a lot of courage to do what you’ve done but you’re bound to feel down, surgery affects us in the weirdest of ways huh? What procedure did you have & when lovely? & how are you feeling physically? I will add you now so you can see my changes over the year & read up on my posts if you wish, it really is a bumpy ride but you’re doing it so chin up chicken, sending lotsa love & best wishes on a happier & speedy recovery xxx

Ladies thank you so much for taking the time to respond, I’m going to try and take each day as it comes and just hope they drop into the new crease, I’m feeling ok physically apart from the left crease there is a reasonably large dent and puckering in the middle of the scar which is painful, I don’t regret having it done…….yet. I did have a bit of a bad time collapsed and had a funny fit eyes rolling and everything the day after surgery which to be honest has probably knocked the stuffing out of me. On a positive note though girls the majority of ladies see to do well after this surgery, and apart from the few things I’ve mentioned the physical recovery is quite quick. Thank you again for the support xxxxx
