Hey ladies
So I’ve been doing research for the best part of about ten years! Finally bit the bullet and had a consultation today! I’m meeting dr fiumara next week! I’m so excited- I’m like a kid at Christmas!
Just wondering what all your experiences with her have been like? Especially anyone with similar stats to me?! I’m 5’9 size 10/12 but very small on top!
Thank youuu xxx
Hi siobhan
Same as u finally bit the bullet. I have seen a few surgeons and have booked my op with her in sep. I read so many good things about her if u type her name in the search and when i met her it confirmed to me shes who i wanted. X
She is amazing girls! So lovely! Her work is so neat, so natural. I cant reccomend her enough xx
Thank you girls!
Her name kept coming up in all my research so she was up there in my choices!
What sizes did she recommend for you guys? Xx
Hey I had Linda last December I’m 7 months post op now and she’s great, I found her very informative, a great listener and very caring! Linda is very cautious to go for a natural look and reccomended 275/300 but I pushed her to 325. I had a mini uplift also.
While looking I specifically wanted a female surgeon and I looked up Dr Fiumaras website and saw her working history amd previous examples of work. At once I felt at ease with her and o went to all of my appointments alone my mother met her on the day of surgery and was really impressed by this point my mother was supportive and she was really happy with my boobs straight out of the op.
Dr Fiumara is a serious perfectionist, she is known throughout Mya from top to tail for her excellent stitching/incision work. She is very clear and to the point if u are unsure of anything tell her and she’s very opening to explaining stuff.
I went in with a collage of boob images of my ideal boobs and they went out the window! linda assessed my boobs and brought me right down to earth with what I needed and not just what I wanted!
All the best on your journey fxx
I also had Linda and really couldn’t be happier. My scars are tiny at 6 weeks post op and I’m healing very well. I went from a AA to a E/F with 350 unders HP. They look 100% natural and more like a big C, small D on my frame. She’s amazing on the day & so are the nurses. The pre and aftercare was shocking though. If I ever have a re-augmentation I won’t use Mya.
Thank you girls! Cliona yours look amazing!!!
I have several pics to take me with next week when I meet Linda too- my pc told me to do this though?!
Is it true that you don’t have much contact with either your surgeon or pc post op? This worries me a little.
Xx
She is amazing! Very direct and honest, takes her time and I never felt rushed. Her scars are incredibly neat too- and dissolvable stitches- really pleased! I’ll try attach a pic a few weeks post op if the scars- they’re still healing really well. I would highly recommend her 🙂 xx
Contact with your pc/surgeon tends to vary there are some girls who are in regular contact with their pc and others like me who haven’t heard from them since just before the op.
I was a bit annoyed at first but then realised she was probably just busy and tbh she couldn’t help much if I had a problem. I was on the forum all the time and kept in contact with girls who has their ops around mine or a month before so I could track my progress and get support.
Post op I was more concerned about keeping contact with my nurse I met at my pre op and wanted her for all my check ups, I had quite a few because I also had an uplift . I built a really good relationship with her and felt it was more important to me that she was in regular contact if I had any issues than my pc because my pc had done her part by this point.
The surgeons are mega busy and some travel the country so if I had a major issue I would email the nurse with images and if it was a serious concern this was passed onto the surgeon.
This did happen to me seven days post surgery. My surgeon requested I go to Mya and wait for her after she finished an operation to be assessed having seen images and hearing that I could have a blood clot in my leg.
I was doing far too much post op when I should have been resting so please ensure you follow the guidelines it was pretty scary for me and my surgeon was quite upset which wasn’t nice as I felt I’d let her down 🙁
Fxx
(Photo of scars 6WPO) I too was mostly in contact with the nurses post op rather than my pc (who was also really helpful before my op) and haven’t had a problem booking in to check something out short notice with one of the nurses either 🙂 Really happy the way it’s all gone the past few months! 😀 x
